In June 2008 the Devon development officer for Badminton England organised a badminton taster session for anyone with a disability. Three players who attended that session enjoyed it enough to want more. With the help of parents and volunteers a club was set up in September 2008. Three players attended that first night which was held in St Peters School Exeter. The numbers have steadily increased and we now have twelve regular members playing to a good standard. We have changed venue and now meet at Clyst Vale Sports Centre.

We are totally reliant on grants and donations for which we are most grateful. The members pay subs of £3.50 per week and the sessions are from 7 until 9.30pm.
