The Devon Racqueteers provide year round coaching and social badminton sessions for those with
physical and learning disabilities.
Established in 2008 the Devon Racqueteers, then known as the Devon Racqueteers Wheelchair Badminton Club, was set up to allow wheelchair users to play badminton. The club has recently relaunched as a Para-Badminton club, which increases the accessibility for people with any type of physical and/or learning disability.
The club has a highly qualified coaching team whom coach players who come for fun but also to those who compete at local, national and international level/ competitions. The club has coached 4 international players representing England and many more who have competed at a national level.
Awarded 'Badminton Club of the Year' in 2014
by Badminton England.
